Welcome to New Mexico’s Interactive Plant List!

The New Mexico interactive plant list is an expert-recommended list of hundreds of low-water-use, native, or adaptive plants that thrive in New Mexico’s climate. The plants in this list require limited supplemental watering.

The interactive plant list is a helpful tool for selecting plants that are appropriate for the climate that you live in. You can use the list to design a landscape that is visually appealing and conserves water resources.

You can look for plants using the search bar, by browsing through the list, or by filtering the search criteria. The search criteria include climate region, plant category, flower color, bloom season, sun exposure, plant size, deciduous/evergreen, water requirement, wildlife attraction, and soil type.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to creating the original and the updated plant list.
